This explains what Pedung collects, why, who it goes to and how to get it back or removed. It sits alongside our terms and community rules.
What we collect, and why
Your email address and password
To create your account, sign you in, verify your email and let you reset your password.
How long: Until you delete your account. Passwords are stored only as a bcrypt hash, never as text.
Your handle, display name and bio
They are your public identity on the site, shown beside your games and comments.
How long: Until you delete your account, at which point they are anonymised.
What you make: briefs, drafts, games, photos you upload and published posts
To build your game, to show it to players, and to keep your studio history.
How long: Until you delete the game or the account.
What you do: plays, play time, likes, saves, follows, comments, shares and skips
To rank the For You feed, count leaderboard scores and show creators how their games are doing.
How long: Feed personalisation looks at roughly the last 30 days; the records go when your account does.
Payments: your plan, credit purchases, spend and the ledger behind them
To sell credits, run subscriptions, send receipts and answer disputes about what was paid for.
How long: Credits last 365 days. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted.
Safety records: the moderation verdict on briefs, photos and published games
To keep the community suitable for everyone aged 13 and over, and to review an account fairly.
How long: While the account exists, so a decision can be explained or reversed.
A cookie for your session, and one anonymous id for signed-out visitors
To keep you logged in, and to avoid showing a signed-out visitor the same game repeatedly.
How long: The session cookie lasts until you log out. The anonymous id is not linked to a person.
Who else sees it
Pedung sells nothing to advertisers, runs no advertising trackers and shares your data with three services only, each because the product needs them to work:
Cloudflare. Hosts the site, the database, the files and the email. Everything you see and store lives on their network.
Stripe. Takes payments. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach Pedung — we store only the customer and payment references needed for receipts and refunds.
The AI model provider. Receives the text of your brief, your change requests and any photos you attach, so a game can be built and safety-checked. It does not receive your email address, your name or your payment details.
We also release information when the law requires it, or to protect someone from harm — for example, material that endangers a child is reported to the authorities.
What is public
Your handle, display name, bio, published games, comments and leaderboard scores are visible to anyone, including people who are not logged in, and can be shared by link. Your email address, your drafts, your balance and your payment history stay private to you.
Anything a game itself shows on screen is drawn by that game inside a sandbox: games cannot reach the network, read your account or see who you are.
Your choices
See and change your details in settings, including your public profile and whether leaderboard alerts reach you.
Delete your account in settings, at any time. That removes your profile, games, drafts, photos, comments and community activity, cancels any subscription and anonymises your account. Payment records stay, because tax law requires them, and unused credits are forfeited at that point.
Ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or erased, by emailing support@pedung.com. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, and to complain to your data protection regulator.
Age
Pedung is for people aged 13 and over. If you believe a younger child has an account, email support@pedung.com and we will remove it.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. Games run on a separate hostname in a sandbox with no network access, so a game can never reach your account. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe.
Changes and contact
When this policy changes, the version on this page is the one that applies. For anything about your data, email support@pedung.com.
