Terms and conditions

These terms cover everything you do on Pedung. Creating an account means you agree to them, along with our community rules. In short: build and play games, treat people well, and keep it clean.

1. What Pedung is

Pedung is a community for short browser games. You describe a game, AI builds it, you change it until you like it, and you can publish it for other people to play. Published games run inside a locked-down sandbox on our servers. Playing is free; building with AI is paid for with credits.

2. Your account

You must be 13 or older to have an account. Give us details that are true, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if someone else gets into your account. You are responsible for everything done from it.

One person, one account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

3. What you may not do

Sexual contentNo sex, nudity, pornography, sexual acts, fetish content or sexualised characters — in a brief, a change request, a photo, a title, a comment or a profile.

Sexual violenceNo rape, sexual assault, coercion, incest, bestiality or any other non-consensual sexual content, in any framing, including as a joke or a plot.

Anything involving minorsNever create, request or share anything that sexualises, endangers or exploits a child. We remove it, disable the account and report it to the authorities.

Hate and harassmentNo attacking people for who they are, no extremist material, no bullying, no doxxing, and no games made to humiliate a real person.

Gore and shock contentCartoon action is fine. Realistic gore, torture, self-harm, animal cruelty and real-world atrocities are not.

Scams and malwareNo fake log-ins or payment screens, no collecting passwords, card or wallet details, no phishing, no mining and no attempts to escape the game sandbox.

Links and contact details off PedungNo web addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, handles or QR codes anywhere in a game — everything stays on Pedung.

Work that isn't yoursOnly use text, photos, characters and names you have the right to use. Don't copy someone else's game, brand or artwork.

4. What happens if you break these terms

Some words are blocked outright. Before anything is built, every brief and change request is checked against a list of banned terms covering sexual content, sexual violence and anything involving minors. If one matches, the request is refused before any AI runs, and your account is disabled straight away pending review — you are signed out, log-in stays closed, and your games stay offline until a moderator has looked at it.

A moderator reviews every disabled account. If it was a mistake we re-enable it; if it was deliberate, the account stays closed permanently. Anything involving minors is reported to the authorities.

Less serious rule-breaking earns a strike, and strikes remove your ability to build and publish. We can also hide or delete a game, a comment or an account at any time when it breaks these terms.

5. AI builds are safety-checked

Every brief, change request, photo and finished game is reviewed for safety before it is built or published, and a request that breaks these terms is refused. Safety checks err in both directions: something harmless may be refused. Treat a refusal as final — working around one is a breach of these terms.

AI writes the game code. We do not promise a build will work, be original, or be free of bugs, and two people giving similar descriptions may get similar games.

6. Credits and payment

1 credit = 1¢ paid. Credits are how you pay for AI build time. You buy them with a plan each month (Creator $20, Studio $50), or with a top-up whenever you want more. Credits are not money, cannot be cashed out, and have no value outside Pedung.

A build costs what the AI actually used, multiplied by 2. Before anything runs you are shown the worst case — the most that build could possibly cost — and that many credits are held. When it finishes you are charged the real amount and every unused credit comes straight back. AI runs once your credits cover the hold.

Credits expire. Plan credits last until the end of the following billing period, so they roll over once. Top-up credits last 12 months from purchase. Expired credits are gone and are not refunded. Your plan renews each month until you cancel it, which you can do at any time from Credits.

If a payment is reversed or charged back, we remove the credits it bought — including any already spent, which leaves the account with an outstanding balance until it is paid.

7. What you make

Your games, photos, comments and profile are yours, and you are responsible for them. By publishing on Pedung you let us host, show, stream and promote that content on Pedung so other people can play it. You confirm you have the right to everything you upload, including any photo of a person.

Other people can remix a published game's idea. Anything you publish can be reported by other players and reviewed by us.

8. The service itself

Pedung is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that games will keep working, or that nothing will be lost. We may change, pause or stop features — including AI building — at any time.

Don't attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the platform, and don't use it to break the law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and using Pedung after a change means you accept it. Significant changes will be announced in the app.

This block is a placeholder and must be replaced before Pedung goes live. These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer.

  • Legal entity name and trading name
  • Registered address, company number and VAT/tax registration details
  • Governing law and the courts that decide any dispute
  • Complaints and dispute process, including any consumer right to cancel and refund rules
  • A legal contact address to sit alongside support@pedung.com, and confirmation that both are monitored
  • Effective date and version of these terms, and how changes are notified
  • Link to the privacy policy and the wording of the content licence you take on published games
